I think he's in his early 30's, and yeah in France we don't care so much how old ppl r as long as they make us laugh/ make good music/ are gd actors... : are talented.
We're not all so big on people's image and don't take ourselves so seriously in general (my opinion).
This guy started as a TV animator, and then started making funny songs like this, and some crazy films too.
Other humorists have done the same.
In France the same people sing, act, do lots of dif things, it's quite fun really.
