"so what's the problem here? Why'd you call me with and leave a million messages?"
Alexandria gestured to her room which was uncharacteristically messy. Clothes had been flung everywhere and shoes spilled out of the closet.
"when did the tornado hit? I didn't feel anything" Bridget joked
Alexandria gave a sarcastic laugh "your so very funny Bridget, has anyone told you?"
Bridget pretended to think about it "yes, yes they have. On several occasions actually."
Alexandria gave her a look "are you going to help me or what?"
"fine, fine. So I assume this has something to do with clothes? What's the problem" Bridget asked
"well were going to see the theater's production of Midsummer's Night dream so I have to dress up. So I went through my closet for clothes but I couldn't find anything and then what I did find was either too formal or to casual or I wasn't sure or...HELP ME!" Alexandria ranted
Bridget led her to her bed and sat her down "Breath little one, breathe"
Alexandria had every right to freak out. Going to a Frenswood performance of any genre was a cause to dress up. Several producers, chorographers, designers and anyone else who mattered in the entertainment industry showed up for these things to find fresh talent. And she didn't want to go underdressed in one of her usual jeans and a cute top outfits.
"well get you through this babe" Bridget reassured her friend, "don't worry. Now go have a shower. I'll fix everything."
Alexandria got up and to do as she was told. When she came back into her room 10 minutes later Bridget was standing with a huge smile, cradling a cream colored dress in her arms.
"put it on" she ordered.
Alexandria obeyed and moments later she was standing in front of her full length mirror amazed by her reflection.
"Bridget" she whispered "you're my hero."
"I know" Bridget said, "I'm still not done with you."
Bridget pulled out some pearl bracelets and a pair of silver earrings and handed them to Alexandria who put these on too.
"all you need now is to do your makeup and hair" Bridget said brightly
Alexandria turned back to her frowning "uh..."
Bridget gently pushed Alexandria to her own room "don't worry, relax, I know just how you'd like it."
It didn't take long, Alexandria didn't need that much work. Just some tinted eyeliner, mascara, blush and she was done. Her hair took even less time, all they did was put it up.
Alexandria hugged her friend after seeing the finished product, close to tears.
"don't cry" Bridget warned, "you'll ruin my work-"
There was a knock at the front door. Alexandria looked at the digital clock on Bridget's nightstand, it read 7:45.
"looks like it's time for Cinderella's ball." Bridget gave Alexandria a playful pat on the butt as she headed to open the door "knock em' dead."
THE DRESS ALEXANDRIA WEARS IS THE ONE SHE'S WEARING IN THE ACTUAL VIDEO. OKAY AND I'M NOT SURE WHO SAID IT BUT SOMEONE WROTE A COMMENT SAYING THAT I SHOULD PUT SKATER BOY AS THE MUSIC FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER. I'M SO SORRY THAT IN THE COMMENT I WROTE I WOULD BECAUSE I'VE JUST REALIZED THAT IT WOULDNT MATCH THE NEXT CHAPTER SINCE IT'LL BE ABOUT JOE, BRIDGET, HALEY AND KEVIN.
