Thanks for the comments. My advice on a tank is to get a big one if you plan to keep them for more than 2 years and have the room (maybe 70 gal?). Oh and refrain from putting gravel if possible... it'll make cleaning more difficult and if you have it in your bed room... all you will hear is gravel moving around all night. Also keep them out of your bedroom... when they get big they will keep you awake at night knocking around the tank. I have a Rio 400 as a filter.

you shouldnt have gravel in there they will sometimes eat it, thats what mine did and we had to take him to the doctor i would usually go with medium sized river rocks

Hi i have to of these turttles and i wanted to knwo if i could feed them fish if i feed them pellets because i bought 3 little fishes to try out to see if they eated them but nothing they didnt even look at them they looked even scared i dont knwo why

Mine chew on it sometimes but they don't swallow. When they do this, it let's me know that they are hungry.

You might have to wait for your turtles to grow a little bigger. I've seen some really small turtles eat fish a little bigger than them. I waited to get fish that are smaller than my turtles.

cool video I had 4 sliders got to big for the tank so I sold 1 on craigslist. Anyways I raise guppies and fresh water shrimps which ends up being my turtle food along with reptile pellets.

it depends on the size of the turtle and the size of the pebble. But an 8 gal setup is not a good place to put them. Unless of course it is a baby.

ok... why is everyone talking about the stand and crap like that? who cares!!? the point is that was an awsome video.. and to the people who thinks that was sad about the fishes.. aww tough.. its nature.. that happens all the time in the wild. ITS LIFE! but once again AWSOME VID AND SONG LOL.. i have few RES too.. not that big yet.. but getting ther.. cant wait til they do that
