Most of us try hard to be great or good or passable ;) parents, even with our mistakes. Sadly, not everyone does. Ask a childrens' services employee. Look up filicide. Personally, the ability to procreate is, in itself, not automatically deserving of praise. It's what you do as a parent that counts.
Miss Lola may be opinionated. Some may disagree with her views. But the fact that her grown child wants to share her with the world says an awful lot about her parenting skills.

I suppose that's true Skaggle. It doesn't deserve automatic respect. But I do think that it carries some weight on moral deserving, in the sense that the value given to good parenting should be amplified by the son/daughter, and bad parenting should be given less weight. Anyway, I don't know the details of your situation, so sorry for the presumptuousness :)
