Luke is a property developer with a difference. Unlike the developers of the past -- he is young enough to know how frightening renting or owning any property can be -- but old enough to know his way around the block -- and help people along the way with his knowledge.
At 37 he owns his own property investment company. He has either rented or owned property all over London over the last 18 years; has been part of several Freehold buy outs and RTM (right to manage schemes). As Britain's homeowners, renters and DIY landlords now face a property stagnation or downturn he knows that now it is essential for their questions to be answered -- renting, buying, selling, developing mortgages and avoiding dodgy developers and cowboy builders!
Luke bought his first property at 19 for £37K in Highgate. The studio flat was on the tenth floor of a sixties block and had amazing views but no heating or proper hot water system. Doing all the work himself he completely renovated the flat and later sold it for £155K.
He moved to London's Docklands and began working for high end property company Savills, he spent nearly 10 years running and selling most of the new swanky developments in and around Canary Wharf, during his time at Savills he started to buy in neighbouring Bow & Stratford where the prices were much cheaper than Docklands, he soon built up a healthy property portfolio and now has over 30 apartments in his development company.
