I agree with whoever said that Andy let DD down twice. He always wanted to play rock music & joined Powerstation with JT while SLB and NR took a break to do their Arcadia project. Lou Reed himself said that this is one of the best cover versions of any of his songs. I do prefer Lou Reed's version though
3) SLB was not a founder of DD, he came along to an audition held by NR and JT....he arrived in pink leopard print leggings and blew the rest of the guys away with some songs he had written

i love the way lou reeds voice breaks just a little on the chorus
it gives the song it's rugged honesty, you know he felt the pain when he sang it.
this version is a little popish, sorry =(
perfect day is in my opinion the only song that really really benefits from being a simple arrangement, guitar part is good on this one though and I guess it could technically be called better...but remaking calssics is still a tricky thing
