those kids are full of it. they didn't know if she was okay or not, they weren't being honest (ie. they thought someone else was going to help her). I guess that's the bystander effect!

those kids later on just have very LAME excuses, How in hell would they know if she passed out? Heart attack? Dying of diabetes? Lame and sick
