OK don't know if this has been posted already but it is possible to beat this guy without any extra health. The key is using the left trigger. This will have the effect of either dashing out the way or blocking his super strong attacks.... Took me about an hour to work it out even after watching the video.

ok. if you have health, go back and fight the armadillos and try not to use any health, if you have no health what so ever, keep trying, if that doesnt work, take the game disc and break it in half, go to game stop and smear the broekn disc in the nerd behind the counters face and say "this game cheats so fucking bad" then run before teh cops show up.

YES YES, beat him without extra health so happy, trick is as soon as he dives block then just tap y with the scythe then as soon as he counters use left trigger to dodge. I had to beat him twice as first time i ran into the mines after and died.
Took me 4 bloody days though this game is so unfair
