yeah no kidding, it's enfuriating. How can you not just have so much respect for Clapton to share the stage with two monsters like that. It's so awesome that he is giving them the opportunity to make music with him. I'm sure it keeps him motivated and pushes him nightly. Not all rock stars would put themselves in a position like that--think about a Tom Petty concert. That's why Clapton is truly a musical genius and it's great he keeps giving back to the craft.

i'd hardly call him one of the best, in terms of actually playing improvised solos and playing them quickly and not just the same thing everytime, he's relatively poor. i've seen him live with clapton and it was just the same as here and everywhere else. and as far as being respected... well... i probably wouldnt even go that far.

Luv the way Doyle gets so into his wonderful solo! His tone and timing is incredible! The relaxed concentration on his face...that excellent dancer moving to the rythm in the backround...can it get any better than that?!
