This tech is quite amazing. If more groups throughout the world build on this, it will make it harder to suppress. However, expect the both the visible and invisible aristocracies of encroachment to persue relentlessy the complete suppression and obliteration of any such devices. Simple teflon.
You can use whatever you want, like wood. But Teflon is just more temperature resistant and it will not deform, and it's easy to saw like wood.
To shield the magnet you can use carbon ring tubes, found in electronics hardware store.
Blocking the magnet can be don with aluminum
