Once a year, Custom PC challenges a select few manufacturers to build the fastest, most innovative and coolest-looking PCs possible, money no object. However, this doesn't mean simply building a PC using the fastest, most expensive components available.
A Dream PC has to grab your attention and wow you in a way that a supercar or a jet fighter does. After all, anyone can build a PC; the trick is to design and build one that you wouldn't be able to build yourself, at least, not without tremendous effort

LOL What a rip just checked there site please freaking 10grand for the ultimate build that would freakin only cost you 4.5k wow because they mod the LIAN LIv2000 and slap there logo on its work 10k suddenley i could build that myself and have cash left for a monitor LAWL people that buy from companys are noobs would take me 6 hours to completely finish a build they charge 10K for and cost less then half.

All of the boutique PC companies arrange the same parts in homogeneous configurations; there's really no difference among them. Regardless, I, like many of you, am a proud owner of a self-built rig and think that having someone else build it takes all the fun out of it.

The only way to see which pc is better: Get a maxed out alienware (the most expensive u can get, probably 10k i guess) A maxed out Voddo,(the most expensive u can get) A maxed out Falcon (the most expensive u can get) and a maxed out custom built pc, then install crysis on them and run it with directx10 at max settings with fraps on and see which one has the best frame rates...

i bough a high end voodoo laptop it destroys almost every desktop pc that iv seen, and iv been at many lan parties where everyone has dropped $1000's of dollers into there machines voodoo are insane and they look beautiful. alenware has nice shit but maxed out voodoo pc would destroy alien, only thing alien has going against it is the new huge display. But i dont think voodoo makes screens...

if you say so but you could never achieve the same amount of awesomness (ie: design and customer care, waranty etc. such stuff) but i guesse that has its expenses

Please remember everyone this is a 2 year old video with a 2 year old spec computer, and even though its still pretty good by todays standards, its not the best. The price now would probably be considerably lower aswell.

If you custom build a PC, you automatically get the following warranties:
HDD - 5year
CPU - 3year
MOBO -1 or 2 year
RAM - lifetime
PSU - 1 year
GPU - 1 year most brands(lifetime if XFX)
so why buy shitty HP with OEM parts and unreliable water cooling? Also what kind of customer support do you need if you are smart enough to build it yourself? Most gamers know how to fix their machines. Suport PC enthusiasts, gamers, overclockers, and modders... SAY NO TO OEMs
