The difference from Palestinians and Native Americans is the fact the Palestinians are fighting for land that doesn't belong to them. Just like how the Black Hills was stolen and then U.S. protected it with their army against the Lakota. BIG difference in Palestinian resistance toward their cause and Native Americans. Don't compare the two when you have no idea of the differences. Go read some history books before I start educating you.

The atrocities toward the Palestinians and the genocide against Native Americans cannot be compared. For one our land (Natives) got stolen, we got infected with germs, we got put into residential schools, and then we continue to get our treaties broken.

Name me one Palestinian who can actually claim to have their entire language ripped from them, their land stolen, and their entire "race" brought to near extinction. The bottom line is that Russel Means has the best approach right now. Every other Tribal Nation will eventually catch on to this. Even if some corrupt reservation leaders don't like it; the fact is, this is the future of the Tribal Nations. Russel Means is ahead of his time. America is going through economic crises right now and if the Lakota detach themselves from them, then the Americans can setup a better free trade with a separate Nation (The Lakota). This is a perfect idea.

LOL......I travel on major highways that go through Indian reservations almost all the time the only shining things i ever see is the large Casino puzzling with hight enders and wealth that never trickles down to community needs. Canadians Natives are not faring better either. there is hight rate of drug use and children dropping out of school sniffing glue. its similar fate to that of Aborigines in Australia.

Yeah but in the end you still pay taxes and "we" do not. There is a reserve here making 40 million a year. I'm in Canada BTW and not all of us are drug sniffing or addicted. You might travel on major highways but come down this area and you'll see a big difference. I've seen more white people drunk while visiting the U.S. then I have Native people. Same goes with European drinkers (Russian vodka, Russian drunks).
