[sees Nick staring out the window] earth to Nick ...NICK! Nick: huh? What? Stanley follows the direction Nick's looking in and sees who he's staring at. Stanley: oh...yeah [gets a dreamy look on his face] that's Alexandria Thermopolis. She's in year 11 (AN: that's like sophomore in England.) She is gorgeous isn't she? Nick: yeah...[stupid smile plastered on his face] Stanley: *sigh* yeah, she's never had a boyfriend. At least I don't think so. Never seen her with one yet, I don't understand why Nick: maybe she's just waiting for the right guy? Stanley: yeah, I intend to be that guy. For two years I've wanted to ask her out. This is it. This is the year I'm going to do it. Nick: [snaps back to reality] so, you like or something? Stanley: like her?? I've been in love with her since I saw her! Nick, realizing that he had a girlfriend and that Stanley really liked her, silently makes a promise to himself to deny any feelings he could have had for her. Joe: well sorry to interrupt your drooling but I do believe we've got this little thing to do today? Now what could it be...it's on the tip of my tongue...ah yes. SCHOOL. And if we don't get moving I wont even have time for a shower. We have less than 20 minutes! Stanley and Nick turn away from the window. The girl, Alexandria, had left too after looking at her phone. Stanley: ok, ok. Lets take a look at those schedules. He explains to them how to get to their classes and the boys seem to get it. Stanley: Since I wont be seeing you guys anytime today, except for lunch, oh and when I have Calculus with Kevin, lets switch numbers so if you need help you we can text. The boys give him their numbers and he gives them his own Stanley: [walking backwards with a playful grin on his face he says] well try not to get killed for the next couple of hours that I'm gone. Then he turns around, headed for the main building. The boys leave in the other direction to get back to their dorms, get clean quick and run for their first class. Kevin: Joe get out already, or were going to be late. I promised mom and dad I'd take care of you guys. Joe: [straightening his tie] calm down Kevin, were not at home anymore, you don't have to do everything they say, sheesh. I'm a big boy, I can take care of myself. Besides first impressions are a big deal. Don't act like you don't believe it, you took your sweet time straightening your hair. Kevin was lost for words. For once, his baby brother had told him something he didn't really comprehend before. His parents weren't here. He felt a weight lift off his shoulders and he began to relax. Nick: well if you two are done pampering yourselves, maybe we can go?! Because of you we now have 2 minutes to get to our classes. No way we'll be there on time. Kevin: ahh! Let's go. It's bad enough were the new kids, I don't wanna cause a whole big scene by showing up in the middle of a lecture or something. Lets go! Girl's P.O.V Alexandria walked into the cafeteria, headed for their usual table where the text she'd recieved on her phone had said to meet Haley and Bridget. Haley: about time! I was about to leave. Alexandria: well it wasn't my fault now was it? SOMEONE told me to meet them by the guidance offices and me, in a fit of stupidity, thought they meant to meet them by the guidance offices. Bridget: why dredge up the past? Were here now. Lets go! What do you have X-ena? Alexandria: [has a look through her schedule] I have English, chemistry, world history, some other lame stuff and...ah here we go, AP performing arts: vocal training (AN: just came up with that name, lol. Basically she's a singer though.) with...ugh. .Mr. Pitt. Haley: how can a man who shares a last name with Brad Pitt be so horrible and vile Alexandria: what do you guys have Haley: [looking through her schedule] oh same old bits of rubbish. English, physics, calculus, blah-blah-blah...AP Visual Arts with Mrs. Dormage! YES! And trice yes! She loves me! Bridget: [all of a sudden looking sullen] glad to see your gonna have fun this year Haley: what? What'd I do? Bridget: no it's not you...take a look Alexandria and Haley huddle over her schedule Alexandria: what's the big deal? Ok so you have to take French again, big whop. You still have Ballet and Hip Hop to cheer you up. Bridget: yeah not so much...look closer... Haley: [whistles]...with Mr. Turnblast. Bridget: why? Just why me? Is it my fate that I must die at the hands of this man, I almost did last year when I had him remember? DUN DUN DUNNNNN. THE TEACHERS ARE MURDERING THE STUDENTS.SAVE THE CHILDREN!! THIS CHAPTER'S NOT AS GOOD AS SOME OF MY OTHERS I THINK. I JUST KINDA BUM RUSHED IT. I'M SORRY. BUT THE NEXT ONE WILL BE BETTER. FERSURE. I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS!
