Groovin baby! Nice, but whack an extra bass drum on beat 3 of the second bar of the two bar phrase (i.e. with the snare hit) to finish the job! Nice work

Cheers. True, but that's your preference...what i was mainly doing here was to play (as closely as i could) to what was played on the record...if you notice, he waits until the guitar break/solo (which I would call the middle eight type section) until he switches to the ride...kinda builds up the song and uses the ride sparingly, which in my opinion i prefer. However each to their own.

Very nice groove you have. You nailed it, by the way. Some people here should listen to the original song. There are no ghost notes at all in the beginning, the groove builds up instead. And there's no ride in the bridge!

You definately have natural groove , sounds really tight. Just one question , is there an 8th note triplet ghost note missing immediately after the accented snare ?. Another words straight after the accented snare you would ghost an 8th note with same hand.

Thanks dude...well I have tried to play it as close as I could get to the record (well the main groove, the fills are far from perfect). Glad you liked it!

Yep I certainly can. I played real drums a good 5-6 years before playing an electric. I do use the electronic mainly for practicing these days (as it is always set up and also much quieter!), but I do still play the real thing when I can. Nothing beats acoustic kits, but I do like the electronics as a practicing tool and for recording these vids (as I dont own drum mics or a mixing desk!).

Don't worry about the record. Most drummers do not even bother to copy their own recordings ... why should we?

I got Roland Td-9 and a Delta Drum what I mixed up with my oldest drum set. So now it is just 1 big drum of Delta Drum and Shock.
