one of the funniest sketches ever made in my opinion. I actually watched the Ben Stiller Show when it was first aired on Fox and it was very underated. I was pissed when they cancelled it after only twelve episodes. You can actually find used copies of the Ben Stiller Show Box set on Ebay for less than ten bucks plus a few bucks shipping and it is well worth it.

well worth it and seriously discounted. You can see the influence of this show even today. Even though Janeane credits Mad TV as being great which it is overall, when you only have 13 episodes, the pacing and the urgency seems to be bigger and brighter than when you have 13 seasons.

Your post is 3 weeks old, but just in case you never found out, this episode ran in 1992.
The series itself ran from September of '92 to January of '93. There were 12 episodes shown (the 13th is on the DVDs), it had terrible ratings not helped by awful time slots, but did win an Emmy for writing.
