I'm sure that by just giving that Amazing' renditon would've touched Steven spirit..the Holy spirit is incredible ...He'll use that experience for Stevens salvation, (we hope and pray). It was absolutely wonderful. Praise God! One more thing..if only these celbrities came to know Jesus and sang like that for Him..because our main purpose here on earth is to Glorify His/Jesus, name..not our own eh?

I think he's just an all around God/Jesus believer. Not a particular denomination, just believed Jesus died on the cross for his sins and has him in his heart. That's all he needs. We'll see Steve in heaven. =]

He sang this at a Unity Church. It is a christian church. Marianne Williamson is Steven's sponsor for AA. I was there when this was recorded. The the church is in Warren, Michigan. Then it was called "The Church of Today" All religions are welcome.

Don't think it makes any difference what "religion" you are, Amazing Grace is simply one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Oh...and as to being "Christian", that's simply a way to live your life, NOT an organized religion. I don't belong to any religion but I consider myself to be a Christian in the way I treat other people.
