They do not get jealous of eachother. They are both good friends and grown ups. And they plays the same solo slots in the same songs in all of the tour dates. They may modify or play an diffrent solo sometimes. But still they do not get jealous of eachother.

This was one of the greatest tours ever by Clapton...the whole band and Doyle/Derek brought out the best in him and his material. I saw them in Houston either just before this or after this (not sure which) but it was amazing!
