stay tuned for all my videos showing some of jimmy page's licks and tricks.Up coming videos in close up detail. Beleive it or not The Guitar is a 70's Les paul copy that i built myself. I am playing through a tascam lick learner/cd player, conected to a 20 year old Kenwood stereo!!! No joking!!! I actually have 5 real les pauls including the first run of the jimmy page model. I also have 2 half stacks one randall and also one orange 140 w and also 4 other tube amps but i chose to use a copy guitar and my stereo!!!!!

You must not have the latest Zeppelin DVD because that's not how Jimmy plays it. Not sure why you think he plays it there? And he uses a slide for the What is and What should never be solo. Sounds pretty good nevertheless.

Dvas99 I have all the zep videos for one.Second jimmy plays things differant all the time and last of all he does use a slide and that is why my channel is called licks and tricks.If you cannot play with a slide this is an alterative way (trick)!!

That exactly what i am talking about mjd775. My thoughts exactly!! I did not have internet and tab 20 years ago and i was totally stuck and frustrated. I am just trying to get beginners on a path. Once you begin to get a song down it starts to become fun and exciting instead of agravating and frustrating!

you sound good but you don't play it quite like Jimmy did. for instance he played the intro at the 5th fret.. technically the first note was 7th fret on the D string. it's played up there so the minor 3rd (C note) can slide down. you instead slide up sometimes and throw in your own chords in the rests. sounds ok for your own interpretation though.

the more epic the band, the more chance for haters because douches take it too seriously.
the same notes exist all over the neck people. I'm surprised people didn't complain that his arms aren't as long as jimmy's or the flame was different on his les paul.
I've also noticed 99% of the haters have no videos up themselves, because in reality they suck donkey balls!!!!
