even spins faster than my big one and
it really capable of doing same work.
i am now busy to rebuilding one of my old RC-cars and will give a update as soon as i can.

at what points are your capacitors connected?
between the top and bottom coils?
or between the positive coil and the commutator?

Nicely done. Congratz. Please help me that i missed somethnig in between. I connect one terminal of the coil to the timing bearing on the shaft, which is half isolated with tape, is that right? The other terminal of the coil goes to the bipolar cap? But where do i power all this? And do i use a small 9vdc battery? Help!!

who is newman & why do you give him credit for designing this motor? I am physicist (rather applied mathematician) and I know much about electricity, and I tell you that Michael Faraday designed this motor around 1830, which James Clerk Maxwell then gave us the proof & equation. But this is not new design, has been around for almost 2 centuries. It was a good project & I am sure it was fun & exciting, as I too enjoy doing stuff like this, but you need to acknowledge the proper person.
