Video Description:
Alexandria followed the bright yellow beacon that was Bridget's hair across the commons which were dimly lit because the sun was covered by rain clouds that had been hanging in the sky for almost a week now.
"Bridget" she yelled, waving her arms wildly.
A gesture that was lost on Bridget because she was walking some few feet ahead of her with her back towards Alexandria and ipod ear buds in her ears.
"Bridget!" Alexandria began to yell again but her voice got stuck in her throat when she saw the frail blond body crumple to the ground.
Alexandria stopped walking and went into a full sprint towards the fallen Bridget. But by the time she got to her, it was as if nothing had happened. Bridget was sitting up right and brushing herself off.
"are you okay?" Alexandria asked
"Yeah fine," Bridget held a hand up towards her which Alexandria took in her own and pulled her up onto her feet with. "I just tripped I guess"
Alexandria looked around them for an object that could've caused such a fall
"uh Bridget," she said once she was done surveying the area "there's nothing here to trip on. The bricks in the walkway are properly in place."
"I-I didn't trip over a brick" Bridget said "I tripped on my jeans."
Alexandria frowned "your jeans?"
"yep"
"Bridget, your wearing a pair of skinny jeans"
Bridget gave a nervous laugh as she thought of what next to say
"yes well...surely you know how unbalanced I am. I may be graceful on the dance floor but off of it, I'm a clumsy fool X-ena"
The use of the pet name Bridget had given her made Alexandria smile and remember the fun times she'd had over the years with the old Bridget, a Bridget who really was very clumsy and could frequently be found tripping over herself or nothing at all.
"okay. If you say your alright then I'll head to class?...." Alexandria said, still a little uncertain that everything was fine
Bridget nodded enthusiastically and let her mouth crack a smile that actually made the muscles in her face ace, it'd been so long since they'd been used to show so much emotion.
She kept the smile on despite how much it hurt until she saw Alexandria's figure disappear around the corner then let her face fall back into the expressionless mess she'd sadly become comfortable with. Then she dragged her feet towards her own 1st class of the day, grateful that she'd only been unconscious for a few seconds this time.
