[On TV a reporter was saying: We have just got news from a reliable source that one of the brothers from the band the Jonas Brothers was seen in a Hollywood club. Pictures show Joe Jonas, the second oldest brother. The Jonas Brothers, known by all teenage girls in the world, should have thought twice about this stunt. But the brother, Joe, was not seen alone. Sheryll, an up and coming model who has been praised for her pictures in Elle magazine and Vogue, was also there. Both underage—]
MR JONAS: We leave for a few days and come home to this!
[Mr. Jonas shut the TV off and yelled at Kevin, Joe, and Nick who were sitting in the living room. Joe hung his head down, not wanting to look into his Mom and Dad's disappointed faces]
MR JONAS: I can't believe this is happening! You guys have lost our trust in one night! Joe, what were you thinking? Going out at night with Sheryll! Don't you know any better than that?
JOE: That wasn't Sheryll.
MR JONAS: Don't lie. I just saw her pictures with you! Everyone in the nation has!
KEVIN: Dad, that wasn't Sheryll. It was Gabby. She looks... a lot like Sheryll.
MR JONAS: Gabby?
JOE: My girlfriend.
MRS JONAS: You have a new girlfriend that looks like Sheryll?
MR JONAS: And you expect me to believe that after what I just saw?
[None of them said anything]
MR JONAS: [Sighing] You are all grounded until further notice.
[Mr. and Mrs. Jonas walked up to their bedroom. Kevin and Nick didn't want to argue with their parents but they didn't see why they were being punished. Joe was the one who had sneaked away]
KEVIN: This is an all-time low.
NICK: Yeah, thanks Joe.
JOE: How was I supposed to know that she would give those pictures away?
KEVIN: I have no idea how you got into that club, but why would you?
JOE: I... I don't know. I was just so angry about—
NICK: Sheryll?
[It was hard for Joe to admit what a mess he had become after not seeing Sheryll for so long and after the fight he had with her]
JOE: Yes... I'm so sorry about what I did last night and I'm sorry that you guys got in trouble.
KEVIN: Well it's too late for that isn't it? And you should be apologizing to Sheryll, too. Those pictures are probably all over the Internet with your name and hers all over them. Can you believe how she must feel? She wasn't even there.
NICK: We need to get our manager and publicists. Joe should make a statement or say something. This is going to give us a lot of negative media attention.
[Kevin and Nick walked out of the living room, leaving Joe to regret ever meeting Gabby and hating himself for going with her to the club]
SHERYLL: Lance, what am I going to do?
[Sheryll and her manager, Lance were sitting in her apartment's dining room]
LANCE: Well, it won't hurt your image much. You're a model figure, not a role model. Actually this publicity could get you more notice.
SHERYLL: So you're saying that I should just let them handle this alone.
LANCE: Yes. You had nothing to do with it right?
SHERYLL: Yes, but...
LANCE: The longer this thing drags out, the more time we have to get you more gigs.
SHERYLL: That's wrong.
LANCE: Sheryll, I'm looking at this as your manager. You know how dirty this industry is.
SHERYLL: Yeah.
LANCE: Well, I've got to go and set up interviews and photo shoots. Don't forget the fashion show tomorrow. All of your outfits are already at the venue so all you have to do is show up. By the way, since you're probably going to be busy here for a few months, I've already postponed your move.
[Lance left her alone to wonder what was happening to Joe. This was the most unexpected thing she thought was possible. She argued with herself whether she should see them, but she was supposed to be in Paris. They would probably find out, though, with the public attention Lance wanted to draw to her. It was making her feel guilty using their image in that way; it was the reason she never told Lance she was ever friends with them]
SHERYLL: [Promising to herself] I'll call them in a week.
[Kevin, Joe and Nick were getting ready to leave and head to the radio interview. As Mr. Jonas opened the door to make sure the car was ready, a flood of cameras tried to see through the door asking for Joe. He quickly shut it]
MR JONAS: Big Rob. There are a quite a few photographers out there. How do we get the boys to the car?
BIG ROB: I'll take care of it. Wait for me to all you guys out
[Big Rob went outside]
MR JONAS: Boys! Get down here now! We've got to hurry.
KEVIN: Why? What's happening?
[Kevin was the first to come down, Nick right behind him]
MR JONAS: Gossip spreads faster than a wild fire.
JOE: What's going on?
MR JONAS: I'll tell you what's going on: the consequences to your party night.
[He gestured towards the door and Joe opened it. Reporters were in a flurry to get a shot of him, asking him how his night went. The voices rang in his ears
